Pfirlani eddie : The song was beautifully rendered except for one thing. Jo Stafford changed the word Minnesota to Oklahoma. The real word is Minnesota and not Oklahoma.
Pfirlani eddie : How about viewing Guy Mitchell's excellent rendition of this song in 1950.Guy Mitchell - My Heart Cries For You Elvis Presley sang this song also but he substituted Minnesota with Albuquerque then he giggled knowing that Albuquerque was not the right word. Elvis Presley My Heart Cries For You/Home recording. All renditions --Guy Mitchell, Gene and Jo, and Elvis were great.
